Vi por casualidad la promo en Netflix de Herencia en los Huesos, la cual me remitió a El guardián invisible, vi ambas y las amé, ahora a disfrutar del cierre de la trilogía muy bien contada. Prácticamente he realizado tres veces el Camino de Santiago por el Baztan desde Baiona hasta Trinidad de Arre. auqnue siempre lo he acabado en Iruña. Entre la Transpirenaika, el Camino del Baztan y demás visitas he perdido la cuenta de mis visitas a estas tierras, y seguramente que volveré En este mes de Octubre del 2019 dos amigos de Barcelona y este servidor, volvimos al Camino del Baztan, y lo hicimos lloviendo cada dia, con nieblas. etc. Vamos, como en la película ! basada en los libros de Dolores Redondo, Mi hija me aconsejó que leyera estos tres libros. los tengo. pero solamente he visto la película, la primera. y me ha gustado muchísimo. yo que soy una persona que cuando estoy en lugares que no los conozco... suelo ser muy extrovertido y me gusta hablar con los nativos... Una vez estuve horas hablando con una Sra. mayor de Elizondo. que me estuvo explicando historias de Contrabandistes y me regalo un puñado de virgenes y han pasado 20 años y aun las guardo, e incluso alguna las tengo colgadas en mi mochila. También recuerdo que tienen unn chocolate impresionante. pero lo que me ha impresionado es ver los lugares por donde suceden las escenas de las películas. Nos hemos estado comentando el libro casi cada dia, en todas las etapas. cuando caminábamos. y nos hemos montado nuestras propias películas etc. Precioso el Baztan. Hay una etapa de este Camino que saliendo de Berroeta llega a Lantz o Olaguer, que es apasionante, fabulosa, sensacional... aunque el Baztan acaba en esta etapa... Hace dos semanas que hemos acabado el Camino y solo hablamos de la Triologia del Baztan y cuando estamos con amigos, y nos preguntan. jugueteamos con no decirles el final. porque si se sabe, se pierde el interés. Lo que no se pierde jamas es el recuerdo y la ansiedad de volver a estas tierras vaskonavarras. Y no cuento mas. que cada persona saque sus conclusiones...

The movie had an interesting premise but was poorly executed. The problem I"m finding with a lot of foreign movies is that they"ve copied Hollywood tropes and cliches and they really haven"t made them work to their advantage. This is a prime example. The lead detective does nothing but give orders around. Scenes are placed randomly with no continuity making the movie hard to follow. There"s no explanation for a lot of scenes, you somehow have to guess what happened or try to infer from the rapidly spoken Spanish. Overall, a poor attempt at a thriller. Watch it if you have nothing else to do on a Sunday afternoon.

En la película no habla mucho de que tiene que ver los huesos y que legado. Me hubiese gustado que tenga de tras fondo una historia antigua pero concreta por que me parece muy ambiguo. Pull up the bean bag chair and settle back. It"s a doozy. It"s about a guy (Billy Mitchell) who got the world record high score on the video game Donkey Kong way back in the early 80s. This guy then lives the rest of his life riding the glory of this nerdiest of nerd accomplishments. When the crown jewel of his so-called fame is challenged (and rightfully BEATEN) by an incredibly decent guy (Steve Wiebe) - this mullet-headed jerk (i. e. Billy Mitchell) and his gallery of nerd-henchmen basically disqualify Steve"s score and repeatedly serve to undercut every valid attempt for Steve to prove he"s better. In fact, it took me a year to get around to watching it because the premise just sounded so lame. This just seemed like a scene straight out of the office, the strangely loyal Dwight trying hard to protect his "hero" who has done little to deserve such loyalty. in the end, I can"t decide if I think it"s sad or funny that Steve Weibe and a few other "normal" people get caught up in this delusional little world of competitive classic arcade gaming. Billy Mitchell, who is in both. Chasing Ghosts covers his and his generations top players lives, and how almost sad parts of scene are, and celebates it as well. Enter this movie, which paints Mitchell as a straight up badguy defending his DK top scoring crown. If you knew nothing about the man going in, like me the first time, Billy appears as a villain of epic proportions. Steve Weibe, the protagonist is a lovable guy who lived life as a runner up in everything until getting the DK score. A sweetly sad battle follows of Weibe trying to be the best at something and the nefarious Mitchell doing whatever he can to hold on to his crown. The gaming scene itself comes across as sad in both movies, shattered dreams, broken men, and refs who are middle aged, live with their parents, and collect erotic art, with very few success stories.
